Absolutely wild that @commandersterling.bsky.social was ranting this week about how the word"cozy" has become pervasive in video games and I see this at my local library today

I say avoidable because I feel like their best go at this was the first DnD set which, due to functionally being a core set was designed like an MTG set first rather than a showcase for an IP

#mtgposting I don't think this is an unavoidable problem, but if the way UB sets are being designed so far holds then I think more than half the sets in standard being mostly legendary creatures is going to be a big play design issue
