@JennyENicholson

How come major film studios keep being like Jared Leto may have allegations, but at least he looks weird, stars in box office bombs, and is not a good actor

how about you care about actual fucking people on this planet before you start wondering if your toaster has a soul.

Once everyone materially demonstrates they care for all people on this planet and we deal WITH ALL THAT and all the animals too

then we can talk about your nonsense.

Right now, I'm trying to find any connection between the Taylor and Welch families, or any reason why my family has been so insistent (since 1943!!) that this wasn't an accident. If it really was an accident, then all good! I will change the narrative! BUT IF NOT, hoo boy!
radiojamming.bsky.social
Taylor said he mistook Earl for "a wounded deer" while Earl was sitting on a stump eating lunch. According to this article, Earl was shot "in the side of the head" instead of the neck. Eventually, the death was ruled an accident and Taylor paid a fine to the family.

As I was growing up, I was always told about Earl's "hunting accident", which was consistently said with raised eyebrows and a look that p much said it wasn't an accident at all.

According to the Detroit Free Press: "At East Tawas, Dwight Taylor, 35, of Marshall, was bound to Iosco County Circuit Court on charges of involuntary manslaughter. He is charged with shooting and killing Earl Keck, 33, of Alabaster, in the woods near Five Corner Dam."

Here's where the conspiracy is. Like I said, I was always told that Earl was our genetic longevity outlier. I looked up his birth certificate and voila. Guess what he died of?

"Gunshot wound in neck"

"I clicked it once and it did not go off, but the second time I tried it the gun happened to be pointed toward Freddie and it went off with a bang. The bullet struck him in the heart and he died right away."

YIKES.
radiojamming.bsky.social
As a matter of fact, Earl did know it was loaded. He confessed to killing Freddie later, first after lying and saying Freddie fell off a barn roof. In this article, he says, "I told that Welch boy to stay away from house or he'd get hurt. He came just the same and I went and got a revolver."

You see, Earl had a really horrible moment in his childhood. At age nine, he'd been playing with his 7-year-old friend Freddie Welch. According to this account, they were playing with a gun (because Michigan in the 1920s) and Earl didn't know it was loaded.
An article from Brethren, Michigan titled BULLET INSTEAD OF FALL PROBABLY KILLED BOY, detailing the death of 7-year-old Freddie Welch who was killed by 9-year-old Earl Keck.

In my family oral history, it's always been, "Except Earl." Earl's always been an outlier, the only family member who died comparatively young at 34 years old. How exactly? Well, that is the conspiracy.

So background is that my maternal great-grandmother's family was locally famous for having extremely long lifespans. My great-grandma, for instance, lived to 102 years. Her twin sister lived 95. Six of her other siblings lived well into their 80s and 90s, EXCEPT Earl.

I'm researching an incredibly strange family conspiracy story and holy shit is it getting WEIRD. Please hold for details.
