I think what's impressive about TRON is that, visually, it's still so much more interesting than any of it's sequels. It's crazy that they tried update this digital world by making it as 'realistically rendered' as possible. It's a complete misunderstanding of the original's charm.

Vehicle Voltron was such a cool weird curiosity. A sharp turn away from the initial concept that had done very well, Vehicle Voltron flopped hard and forced the company to swerve back to what HAD been an incredibly successful property. But the damage had been done. Still, VV is an underrated design.
