I think one of the strongest motivators of furries that lust after characters from mainstream releases (despite having plenty of personalized & community-created material available) is that there is something inherent to perverting something that wasn’t designed with that kind of gaze in mind.

Which is why Republicans will prevent elections from happening in any way they can imagine. Failing that, they will turn the vote-counts into a circus that primarily gets litigated in the media and eventually tossed to a Supreme Court ruling in favor of monarchy, just like the founders wanted.
