I guess what shocks me most is the idea of someone buying their advent calendars upwards of 2 months in advance. They're not gonna run out. The Christmas Goods are overproduced more than maybe anything on earth lol

It's weird to me though that advent calendars will be on sale before Halloween is even in swing. I think the UK sees halloween as American Imperialism (and idk if I can blame them in terms of it being a commercial holiday) and has been slow to adopt it full-tilt. Like, stores get a corner.

You know, I thought America would be the more absurd country about Christmas season's start date, given the "war on Christmas rhetoric that's been around forever...

But one of my years here in the UK, I saw advent calendars for sale in September. They don't even wait for October to end, at large.

This is me in 2017, and I'm posting it as proof that I didn't "just discover" lipstick or long hair or whatever. A weird part of my being slightly public facing is that a surprising number of people have speculated a made-up timeline for my transition. I find it weird and invalidating of NBs.

I use something I wouldn't recommend to anyone (they went subscription) and it genuinely nearly crashes doing text, but images upload decently, so long as I'm not dropping them direct on the timeline.

No worries on replies though. I know of your eternal brain worms and I respect their coup attempt.

I have NO idea why mine does this almost exclusively with adding text. Every other time I add text in specific, I get the "waiting to respond" thing. Really feels like it's far from the most intensive effect, and yet.

And audiences on all platforms are seeped in a culture of negativity. I can't tell you how often me saying something like "It's interesting that..." or presenting an implication of a game's play etc, is taken as 'hating' on it OR an excuse to do so.
