Decided to change my handle to a new "pen-name" of sorts

I'm still fine with being called Tom but I like "Robin" becuz

- the best bird
- matches my silly username
- gender neutral
- not as boring a name
- handy for RPGs where I can name the protagonist

Old lady: Oh, won't someone please help me?
Kiryu: What do you need?
Old lady: My cat's stuck on top of a tree...
Kiryu: That's no problem. I'll help.
Old lady: Thank you... It's right over there \*points over at the World Tree, Yggdrasil*
Kiryu: ah. well, a promise is a promise,
Hanging out with GoobΓ©rt by the canal
Sakurai's Dedede >>>> HAL Dedede tho
I'm sorry but I'm starting the Sonic Green Eyes discourse but for the Kirby series

HAL Labs adorable rounded eyes > Sakurai line eyes

Gonna be fascinating seeing the reactions to this once devs within begin blowing the whistle

I can only hope there's push-back on a grand scale. I'm sure the heavy hitters will weather the storm but I doubt I'll be picking up Assassins Creed again or even Mass Effect 4
The AAA games industry* is increasingly seeing generative AI as the silver bullet to solve long development cycles and rising labor costs. They may not announce it like below, but they're all implementing it within development pipelines.

*Pretty much all large game devs at this point.

I don't remember GB Tetris being this full of beans
Honestly most of the stuff is on the UK online store or in Forbidden Planet etc. I wish they had a bit more of the recent JP stuff, yeah

I'd have loved those little clockwork Pikmin toys they did a while back
Went to the London Nintendo Pop-Up Store!

Wasn't as exciting after going to the Tokyo branch last year but it's still neat having it be a day trip away

Got me a whispy woods, shy guy, lil purple Pikmin and some other bits

Truly a GotY contender
Currently about to enter the London Nintendo popup store so I missed the Kirby Air Riders Direct

This is all I needed to see tho

This squirrel I saw literally used Tail Whip, nature is amazing
At least we get to see them up close now, I had no idea what a malasada even was thru most of Sun and Moon
Charles Martinet going "oh! Just what I needed" every five seconds in the Mario Advance games was good, actually

In Super Mario 3D Land, the welcome screen that is displayed when starting the game for the first time appears to be much less enthusiastic about the game in the European version compared to the US version.

Legends Z-A check-in, at rank D now!

Honestly it might have the best writing in the series, building on what worked best in S/V

Still not feeling one city was the best choice though especially with the lack of variance in music. There have been some nice surprises at least.
When I wrote about games years ago he followed everyone on the team. I followed back as a courtesy but not for long

It was a clear grab for the widest audience, big or small, so he'd have a platform for things like this

Really he gave the vibe of a wario64 wannabe with really irritating takes

This is it. My number one favourite new detail in MGS Delta.
