It's a no-brainer that her appointment is invalid. So the question becomes, is the indictment (on she was the only lawyer signatory) invalid as a result—and, if so, is it too late for the Trump DOJ to remedy that problem, given that the statute of limitations ran on Sept. 30.

The president is clearly insane, is on a white supremacist government purging spree, has masked men in the streets abducting people based on their race, is trying to start a war with Venezuela, and is tanking the economy, and none of that would be apparent just going by most corporate news outlets

Good. His slanderous statements caused unnecessary trauma.

Pay up.

I live in a college town in Arkansas and the protests here have been huge. I lived in Berkeley for 20 years -- 60s-80s, and this is nothing like that, but it still feels like something important is happening.

The protests against fascism in a deep red state is something.

I hear you. I did make the caveat that the one thing 2 celebrate was that the committee did not bend the knee to the 🍊convicted felon.The irony that it was given to a Venezuelan woman was pleasant. But she is financed & supported by the corrupt ones too. Venezuela’s situation is rather complicated.

NEW: There’s a disaster unfolding in Alaska right now. And no major network is covering it.

The remnants of Typhoon Halong battered western Alaska overnight. Homes, with people in them, have literally been swept into the Bering Strait.

At least 20 are missing. No comment from any federal agency.

About a month ago, the Trump administration got rid of the de minimis exemption, whereby packages valued under $800 could slide in without import duties. Now there's a backlog as the government can't process all of this paperwork, leading to UPS just destroying packages

Business Insider headline reads: UPS is telling customers that their packages coming to the US are marked for destruction.
