finally finished Hello Sunshine by @keezyyoung.bsky.social and very genuinely it’s my favorite graphic novel I’ve ever read. Mesmerizing panel composition and art, really good pacing and character writing, a good reversal of common tropes

Couldn’t recommend it enough—even if YA ain’t your thing

"Hello Sunshine" is SUPER good.

It's absolutely beautiful work on every level - the art, the coloring, the writing, the story... Keezy is SO good at comics.

What's especially striking here is the deft handling of mental illness/psychosis and horror in a way that is haunting, and not dehumanizing.
