The reasons for not addressing housing and distractions from it are pretty much the same everywhere also.

Also he’s utterly resistant to the dumb attempt to push transphobia or anti immigrant hate as an electoral solution. I’d like to see that emulated also.

I probably repost too much about Mamdani for someone who does not live in New York City, but his core issues - particularly housing affordability and public transport - resonate in pretty much every US city. Those are the big issues in Seattle for sure.
