Early/Absentee vote just dropped in the New Orleans Mayoral Race:

Helena Moreno (D)- 55.4%
Royce Duplessis (D)- 23.9%
Oliver Thomas (D)- 17.8%

Only hope for Duplessis/Thomas is that the e-day vote is less Moreno-friendly, because she wins outright if she stays above 50%.

Throwback: in 1979-1980 the NYGOP was incredibly divided, eventually costing moderate Senator Jacob Javitz renomination to Right wing Al D’Amato — the succeeding split however did not cost the GOP the seat as D’Amato succeeded Javitz in the general in spite (and because) Javitz split the liberal

A reminder that Russell Vought previously said he wanted Gov workers “to be traumatically affected. When they wake up in the morning, we want them to not want to go to work because they are increasingly viewed as the villains…We want to put them in trauma.”

Biggest thing about this add is that it attacks Sherrill’s vote on the OBBB without directly saying she voted against the OBBB — also her not committing to not raising the sales tax in debate 1

Important to note: the person who conducted the poll said subsamples of his 300 person poll are representative & anyone saying it isn’t is scamming.

Decently sure he’s just not a good statistician or pollster

Another super cool tool to track Virginia early vote

Still too early to draw big conclusions

But good to poke around and look at votes

Right now is a bit of lull in middle of early voting

Will really start to pick up in about 10 days as more satellite locations open

Overall, however, the campaign was uneventful. Compared to the concurrent Senate Race, Pascrell did better than Freshman Senator Cory Booker in most of the seat, posting his best performances compared to the senator in Clifton, Haledon and Hawthorn

The 2014 U.S. House election in NJ's 9th Congressional District, a comfortable reelection for then 9 term Representative Bill Pascrell over former Chair of the Englewood Dems & Montclair State Professor Dierdre Paul saw him winning all but two of the towns in the 9th, Creskill and Hasbrouck Heights
