In the 1970s, queer New Yorkers had been pushed to the margins of NYC. Our trans neighbors faced immense cruelty. But in Sylvia Rivera, they found a champion.

As we combat Trump’s politics of darkness, her legacy can light the path forward.

The *entire* tech industry, a third of the US stock market, is wrapped up on *this* finally being the way to use these magical beans.

Literally the same people who 2 years ago were shouting that NFT's were the trick to using these magic beans, and crypto before that.

I know not everyone is who they thought they would be under a fascist, authoritarian regime. That's okay. But it's time to do more than react and post about it. It's time to get organized—including mapping or creating lines of support and defense in your community.

I'm just so proud of all of us who came together to start For The People Leftist Library. We punch so much above our weight. We have no money and yet we have done sooooo much by being creative and by relying on each other. I am grateful and also determined to keep pushing for the next 2 years.
