Also... her life probably sucks the least of the NPCs with quest chains, and she's mourning a dead husband. I'm doing her quest chain a bit differently, as it's definitely a "conversation choices change the ending" quest.

Playing more 2077, and I like that there's a canonically trans character and that it's no big deal. We don't get to know her well enough in her quest chain to know how bad it was growing up, but it's.....kinda hopeful that there's a trans character whose life sucks for other reasons.

Still there, kinda. The name of the business has changed, but the green sign on top is still there, though the English sign has changed from Dai-Nam to Dai Loi.

There's also a couple new boulevard trees out front.

It's amazing how similar this street looks 40+ years later. Buildings are pretty much unchanged, log trucks and old pickups rule the road.

Seriously though, the last hour or so of the Judy Alvarez romance storyline is quite unlike any I've encountered in a video game. No explosions, no fire, no guns, just storytelling and emotion. A little bit of game mechanics, but mostly it's just story.

What is making me extra upset about this situation is that the city will get less from the open market than what the urban farm has to pay to get the land. It's just obstreperousness (and hating on ward 9) as mayoral policy.

I'd say cruelty has unintended consequences, but I don't think this is unintended. By using homeless people as pawns like this, he forces people to see them which makes it easier for him to scare-monger in an election year.

Continues to be striking how, since Frey erected the greenway fence to Lake/Nicollet, the crowd has returned en masse to 2900 block of Blaisdell. Frey bleats “you can’t have encampments by home & businesses“ but that’s exactly where he’s pushed these folks. Meanwhile 50 housing vouchers go unfunded.

My brother died of an overdose over 15 years ago. While this wouldn't have helped in his situation, this will save the lives of others. I'm proud of whatever steps we as a city can take to help prevent the pain that my family went through.
