I honestly think people are so used to this shit that it won’t faze them. When you can’t even buy a tv without having ads automatically inserted in your menu, you just learn to accept the overstimuli. If anything, children will be frightened by her grotesque visage.

Read this thread from a great Portland reporter! The New York Times running this story today is absolutely calculated. It has been positioning Portland for years as a progressive villain. Also: why send a reporter from the Bay when the NYT has at least two reporters who actually live in Portland.

Waking up to some careless parachute journalism from the NYT. Really frustrating that @kellen.bsky.social chooses to write that "some top filers" have left Portland due to the Preschool for All tax but neglects to mention that the number of overall filers went up by many thousands in that period.+
