Investigating LAPD-press incidents in Los Angeles on Saturday. No doubt LAPD violated court injunction. Just a question of how bad.

So far I think only minor injuries to press. Still confirming. Not a passing grade regardless.

Los Angeles, CA -

More pushing, shoving, “less lethal” projectiles towards the crowd that was assembled at Metro Detention Center. Protesters were as far as I can tell peaceful outside of remaining in the area (but were attempting to leave) until the charge from horse mounted units.

We are at the #NoKings rally in Highland Park & there is a small preteen in go-go boots & a tube top here with their mom, carrying a small hand painted progress pride flag sign that says “We’re still here” & I think my heart might explode.

I’ve seen just one counter-protester at No Kings San Diego. He’s got a Trump 2024 flag and this guy has been following him around for probably an hour playing Benny Hill and circus music.

The No Kings March in Chicago is one of the largest gatherings I’ve seen here. Looking down from by the river, the crowd stretches for blocks down Michigan Ave and wraps around Wacker Dr. This video is from a few minutes ago and the end of the protest is nowhere in sight.
