Agreed! Among 3 extremely decorated NBA vets, I have a hard time believing that this is the most amount of basketball insight they can squeeze out of their brains.

I get that X's and O's might not sell to the avg viewer, but jfc the amount of lazy hate they spew is intolerable to me

Still surprised at how many ppl want this show. I get the "I've been watching them for 20 years!" nostalgia take, but they've been bad for the sport of bball.

They've edged closer & closer into "First Take" territory, but add just enough "lol watch Shaq fall down!" slapstick humor to be "different"

Reading a comment like this warms my soul. It's the main reason I enjoy getting the privilege to write in the capacity that I'm allowed to 🥹🥹🥹

Thanks for your vulnerability in sharing your perspective and writing this meaningful article, Leo :) As a Vietnamese American who grew up with hoop dreams, it very much resonated with me. Growing up in the 90s, it was incredibly rare to see anyone who looked like me on any national sports stage, let alone have any Asian heritage. I was more than happy to point out Johnny to my daughters last night and talk to them about how "his family is also from Vietnam". It's meaningful to many and I hope we continue to see more Asian American players reach the NBA.
