Wie so oft können zwei Tatsachen gleichzeitig wahr sein:

a) Das Maduro-Regime ist eine verbrecherische Diktatur, mit der es besser heute als morgen vorbei wäre.

b) Große Teile der Opposition bestehen aus höchst unsympathischen Personen, die hauptsächlich ihre früheren Privilegien wiederhaben 👇

And it goes to show 2 elephants in the room that need more attention:
1) there is not a single profitable, year round, daily running sleeper train in all of Europe.
2) Germany has no mechanism in place nor does it allow government funding of long distant trains.

Trafikverket verlängert die Förderung für den Stockholm-Berlin EN nicht über Juli 2026 hinaus. (Lange bekannt)
SJ verlängert den Vertrag mit RDC nicht über August 2026 hinaus. (Das ist neu)

Nach Stabilität sieht das nicht aus, schlechte Aussichten für Themen wie Bildung und Wohnen, von Sicherheit ganz zu schweigen.Viele werden schreiben, dass die ganz große Katastrophe nicht eingetreten ist, aber kann das wirklich der Maßstab sein?

Hamas has released a new statement on the negotiations:
.....Within this framework, and in order to achieve an end to the war and a complete withdrawal from the Strip, the movement declares its approval to release all occupation prisoners — both living and remains — according to the exchange formula included in President Trump's proposal, provided that conditions on the ground are secured for the exchange process.
In this context, the movement affirms its readiness to immediately enter, through the mediators, into negotiations to discuss the details.
The movement also renews its approval to hand over the administration of the Gaza Strip to a Palestinian body of independents (technocrats) based on Palestinian national consensus and backed by Arab and Islamic support....."
