No, I was always just assuming that I was too old - and that my social media posts are too text-focused - for TikTok.

@svennyholm.bsky.social re Merkel's selfie with a robot, these pictures are from 2016.

I bet you could literally find a selfie with an (MC) Hammer statue if he's in Madame Tussauds' (probably not by Merkel though.)
my pictures including a selfie with Seward Johnson's statue of Johannes Vermeer's Girl with a Pearl Earring

So I've updated an earlier blogpost to explain limit-case arguments. In "Robots Should Be Slaves", I intended to be entirely agnostic about whether we COULD build persons. That question is irrelevant, because even if we could, it would be moral catastrophe.

I haven't read it (yet) but it sounds interesting! I think I will add it to the reading list of my ethics of LLMs/generative AI course. Thanks for the tip, Joanna!

🎥 Who gets the credit, or the blame, when AI makes decisions? Sven Nyholm ( #LMU/ #MCML) reflects on how AI challenges our ideas of agency, credit, and blame — and why we need new ways of thinking about authorship, justice, and decision-making.
