The problem isn’t the heavily armed masked thugs in the streets kidnapping and murdering people; the problem is using language to draw attention to those people by accurately describing them.

This happened to me too
I wake up most mornings with a song in my head (would that it were in my heart) and have fancied considering it a kind of horoscope for the day.

This morning it was “The Battle Hymn of the Republic.”

“He is trampling out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored.”

I’d really rather not.

Hard to avoid the conclusion that telling despicable lies over and over about Mexicans, Haitians, Somalis, Venezuelans, etc is fine with the US media. But getting angry at armed governments agents who are shooting your residents dead in the streets is beyond the pale for them.
I can’t believe we’re doing this tone & curse policing again for Democrats. Trump calls people vermin & Vance dehumanizes minorities & immigrants all the time. What is wrong with the national media?
WELKER: Do you bear any responsibility to bring down the temperature?

FREY: Of course. But I dropped an F bomb and they killed somebody. I think the killing somebody is the inflammatory element here and not the F bomb.

The message from the White House this morning is that, once again, it falls on ordinary American citizens to remain calm and professional when dealing with the heavily armed agents of the government because they are very emotional and might fly off into a murderous rage at the slightest insult.

A new analysis of the UC’s financials, records, policies, acquisitions and investment assets shows it's likely in the strongest financial position in its 150-year history, and calls into question the claims of financial distress made last year to justify hiring freeze, layoffs, and tuition hikes.
All art about Trump will end up being pro-Trump propaganda simply by virtue of writers and directors giving him more depth than he has. There really is nothing else there. He's just a mobster. He has *no* depth. Zero. None. He likes steak and blondes and gold. That's all there is to him.

US Embassy Bogota hasnt gotten the White House memo that, post abduction, the United States is running Venezuela and the Venezuelan people actually love us now and are very eager to give us their wallets. ve.usembassy.gov/security-ale...
This is Minneapolis:

-drop the kids off for a day with their grandparents
-go to brunch with your wife
-get a text from neighbors who don’t have enough food & can’t leave home or they might be abducted by fed govt
-get groceries as helicopters roar overhead
-deliver food & this vehicle passes you
This is the second time in three months a DHS agent called a US citizen a "bitch" as he shot her. donmoynihan.substack.com/p/whos-threa...

You are stopping at creatine? I am now interesting massive quantities of creosote! My balls drag on the frigging ground!!! Rowwwwwwrrr!!

Look, if it will help, I think I got a third place prize in elementary school for a “flower show” cucumber lizard I made at my parents’ insistence. I can give it to Trump to make him feel better.

The dishonesty of “conservatives” about the killing of Renee Good makes me want to quote Lincoln: “When it comes to this I should prefer emigrating to some country where they make no pretence of loving liberty -- to Russia where despotism can be taken pure, and without the base alloy of hypocrisy.”

This is how you deny the people of MN representation
I was just denied access to the ICE processing center at the Whipple Building.

Members of Congress have a legal right and constitutional responsibility to conduct oversight where people are being detained.

The public deserves to know what is taking place in ICE facilities.
JUST NOW: Huge mass of agents in a standoff, weapons drawn as Reps. Ilhan Omar, Angie Craig, and Kelly Morrison attempt to conduct congressional oversight at the Whipple Building, which has been HQ for thousands of ICE agents.

Philly Strong!!
Philadelphia Sheriff Rochelle Bilal warns ICE:

"No law enforcement professional wears a mask... Those that come into our communities wearing a mask to commit crime... You getting arrested".

"Fake wannabe law enforcement... The criminal in the WH will not be able to keep you from going to jail".

Taxation without Distribution
It is deeply counter to the whole very basic concept of this nation that its citizens can be taxed and then have funding withheld punitively because the person exercising the power of the presidency decides on a whim to do so.
at some point we're gonna have to have a real conversation about why we're still paying federal taxes to a regime that isn't using them to help anyone, but instead is using them to brutalize us

Excited to see the increased daily allowance for horse testicles in the MAHA Food Pyramid.

Oh, crap, that is right.Putting a one year cap on the 10% makes this yet another grift and disaster
This probably won't happen because the credit card companies are going to sue but if it did happen, it just means debt crisis in a year because people will spend money they don't have thinking it's only 10% and then not pay it off before the year is out and then the rates will be astronomical
Trump: "AFFORDABILITY! Effective January 20, 2026, I, as President of the United States, am calling for a one year cap on Credit Card Interest Rates of 10%."

All you have to do is submit to arbitrary power and you will be free!

The USA as a functional federation of states that are allowed in a democratic fashion to disagree no longer exists. Goodbye, USA; you are now simply the SA.
The US Department of Agriculture suspends all federal funding to Minnesota, effective immediately.
