And now, the case against Letitia James is dismissed too, same rationale but minus the statute of limitations complication.

Just months ago, President Trump sent a letter to the Brazilian president, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, demanding that the authorities drop charges that Jair Bolsonaro had attempted a coup. Now, Trump has all but admitted defeat, Jack Nicas writes in a news analysis. nyti.ms/4irUaEA

Attack from Within: How Disinformation is Sabotaging America
A NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLERUPDATED EDITION: The MSNBC legal analyst explores the impact of disinformation after the 2024 presidential election—and what Americans can do before it’s too late.“A comprehensive guide to the dynamics of disinformation and a necessary call to theethical commitment to truth that all democracies require.” —Timothy Snyder, author of On TyrannyDisinformation—the deliberate spreading of lies disguised as truth, whether from opportunists on the far right, misinformed media influencers, or others—is fragmenting America more than ever before, pushing the nation toward extreme views, civil unrest, and violence. In this bestselling book, now with a new foreword by the author, Barbara McQuade identifies how disinformation is seeping into all facets of our society, causing havoc in our voting systems, schools, hospitals, workplaces, and the Capitol. McQuade, an MSNBC legal analyst and former federal prosecutor confronts the ways disinformation is being weaponized to polarize voters, degrade our legal structures, and leverage the political influence of manipulators and authoritarians. Now newly updated, Attack from Within shows us how to fight back against misinformed, extremist thinking and work toward preserving America’s hard-won democracy.

He should already be in prison for the treason he committed during his first term, but now we can add human rights abuses and war crimes to the charges.

As America continues its backward spiral, Finland is showing us what our tomorrows are missing out on.

The future will get here without America it seems

White automation of decision-making in banking, policing, employment often entrenches systemic racism by making white-biased outcomes appear objective. This process thus digitizes the "white racial frame," physically embedding it into the very infrastructure of our very 'modern' society

Llack of diversity of AI developers compounds racism issues. Perspectives of homogenous workforce fail to recognize or address needs /experiences of communities of color--thus, AI technologies reinforce existing white power structures. AI often acceleratates Racial Oppression.

When datasets are biased due to past discrimination, racist framing, poor representation of people of color—AI models trained on them perpetuate racist biases. Eg., algorithms in healthcare poorly estimate health risks of Blacks; criminal justice algorithms assign longer jail sentences to Blacks

As a result, AI is not a neutral tool; rather, it digitizes and accelerates longstanding patterns of racial oppression by embedding historical and institutional biases into its algorithms and outputs. AI systems frequently rely on large datasets that reflect racist historical&societal inequalities.

Development &deployment of artificial intelligence [AI] occurs in US structured by what I call the "white racial frame," a dominant worldview normalizing white experience & marginalizing people of color. This frame is embedded in predominantly white/male AI industry, shaping AI design/application

A federal judge didn’t “steal” the Commander-in-Chief’s powers—she ruled that DoD exceeded the limits Congress set. That is the rule of law working as designed. What threatens the Republic isn’t judicial review, but officials who insist they’re above it.

Being there makes your judgment suspect. I don’t care how savvy you think you are, you’re marinating in a disinformation campaign.
