I think my only “problems” with Battle Suit Aces so far are very *me* problems

1: I want the training wheels off sooner so I can be a weird little card game goblin

(I’ve spent Countless hours on Marvel Snap and Hearthstone and Slay the Spire)

2: not a SINGLE ONE of these mechs has smooched yet! 😏

MLS needs to fix its season to coincide with the rest of the world's Futbol season.

If that means a bunch of northern teams can't play half the season, sucks to be you.

The international break is bad enough as it is.

But for an american?

It also means watching your MLS side get hamstrung for 2 weeks as they fight for the best possible finish heading into the post season.

MLS needs to fix their schedule.

Sorry to tell you a universal truth, but commercial work can improve your fine art. Doing something for a client forces you to define your perspective and filters, fine tuning your tastes. So when you do something from your gut, you'll be even firmer about who you are and what you like. 🤷‍♀️

💯 "When I get inspired" isn't a thing. People are rarely inspired to the point of it spontaneously producing work. Rarely is birthing immediate and easy, often it's labor intensive and requires interventions like strapping yourself down and forcing something out.

I was usually the oldest person in the room (I moved west "late") and I was always looking to better myself but also see if anyone thought I had any business being out here. I'm grateful for the kind words and stern lessons from people like Charlie Adler, someone I admired my whole working life.
