You can test new tech ideas using the Seinfeld Test

Would the product eliminate the plot of an episode? (Google maps, cell phones, paypal, battery packs)

Good tech.

Would the product inspire new Seinfeld plots? (NFTs, AI chatbots, crypto currency, blindboxes, metaverse land sales)

Bad tech.

“It’s mind-shatteringly stupid,” wrote another. “The first thing Sony Entertainment does … is to cheapen its prestige as an exhibition venue. Brand value destroyed.”

Buying something that was working and then shitting on the majority customer base is certainly a strategy.

Tacky marble and Amazon gold wall accents. Urinals in the shape of Melania's rigid mouth. Ah, the theatre.
Great so now even after the asshole’s dead the Kennedy Center’s going to look like the home theater where Uday Hussein watched rape videos
He’s destroying everything—acting like these buildings are his.

Also the real reason he’s closing it is because literally no one will perform there anymore after he slapped his name on it and this way he gets to claim “under construction” instead of the actual reality which is everyone loathes him.

All of the versions feature Rogers' ten children as spectators, watching the execution. This was a staple of shared visual culture in New England, familiar to every eight-year-old child.

They're all nightmare fuel in their own ways, but shoutout to this king of American folk horror:

The various printers of the New England Primer used their own versions of the image. They shared basic elements (Rogers, the stake, soldiers, Rogers' wife and many children watching), but varied in their details.

Every child who learned to read English in New England before 1800 would have been familiar with an image of John Rogers being burned at the stake.

It was one of the main images reproduced in the New England Primer, and one of the first longer passages children learned to read independently.

I uninstalled Instagram from my phone today for the last time, I'm having the opposite problem. Lately Instagram decided to overload my feed with divorced no neck hustle bros, spotlight conservative accounts like CPAC and Jordan Peterson, and MAGA moms sharing weight loss secrets. Zuck sucks.
Do you remember when people were saying "I think my phone is listening to me, i'm getting ads for stuff I spoke about" and people said "They arent listening to you, they're just this good at predicting your interests"?

Well, it happens they were doing exactly that.
