Heidi was the most engaging law professor I had the pleasure of learning from at Georgetown Law. Her class featured dance interludes to the music of Miley Cyrus and Bob Dylan. She has dedicated her life to fighting fascism in the US since she retired and I’m proud to have known her!

Guy I went to rehab with said he blew a .49 after totaling his car. I hesitate to say that because it’s well higher than what could kill a practiced alcoholic. This is not a feat to replicate.

I remember seeing Ray Romano doing standup and mentally noted when Everybody Loves Raymond started. Never watched, went to college, life, my 20s, etc. I blink and what felt like a year or two later I find out that its series finale is airing after a 9 year run!!! Real mindfuck, time is.

A G-28 is needed for ICE to speak to an attorney or representative of a detainee. I’ve never heard of ICE requiring one to speak to someone in the process of being arrested but it doesn’t surprise me.

Are you sure? You link to an opinion piece that doesn’t link to an official statement. Beilock issued a statement professing independence shortly after the compact demand, but it wasn’t a formal rejection.
