I joined up with volunteers from a local org today to watch an intersection near my house for ICE while an elementary school let out. There were dozens of people out and about today patrolling the street and sharing potential sightings with each other. It was really heartening to see

Was just at a neighborhood school at dismissal. Hundreds of people with whistles surrounding the school and stationed down every block making sure ICE doesn’t snatch anyone. The same is happening at all the schools around here. I love my neighborhood and I love Chicago.
