100% of the revolution will be doing what Christians are supposed to be doing loving our neighbors as we love ourselves, not just our next-door neighbors or even just those in our individual communities, uplifting the least and always being busy at work!

The revolution will be love in action!

A 13-year-old boy was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in Everett after an interaction with members of the Everett Police Department and sent to a juvenile detention facility in Virginia, according to his mother and immigration lawyer Andrew Lattarulo.

The boy’s mother, Josiele Berto, was called to pick her son up from the Everett Police Department on Thursday, the day he was arrested. After waiting for about an hour and a half, she was told her son was taken by ICE, Berto told the Globe in a phone interview.

“My world collapsed,” Berto said in Portuguese.

From the police department, the boy was taken to ICE’s holding facility in Burlington on Thursday evening, where he spent a night before being transferred by car to the Northwestern Regional Juvenile Detention Center in Winchester, Va., on Friday morning, his mother said. The juvenile facility is more than 500 miles away from Everett.

The boy is a 7th-grader at Albert N. Parlin School in Everett, his mother said. The teen and his family, who are Brazilian nationals, have a pending asylum case and are authorized to work legally in the United States, Lattarulo said.

They don’t actually want to do anything substantive they want politicians to do all the work and take all the risks, even though obviously politicians are all cowards and will risk nothing

The inability to accept any responsibility for the catastrophe we’re living in is disgusting

Maybe you liberals could try introspection adaptation and evolution instead of just blaming everyone else for your catastrophic failures?

Populism was never the issue

The issue was calling far-right politics "populism" which was not only inaccurate but euphemised and legitimised them as a so-called alternative to the status (while they aim to take the worst of it and push it further)

Yes, I'll keep banging on about this

We’re bad at math but $1.1 TRILLION in cuts (for tax cuts for the rich) > $50 BILLION

They think we are all morons

I don't think Greta has forgotten. Maybe your problem is that you can't see things as being interconnected.
And maybe it's a good idea to reconsider supporting an economic system which is environmentally unsustainable.

Disappointingly On Brand that after industrialization capitalists were presented with a choice between innovation & breakthroughs that would enshrine eternal prosperity or prospectors who voraciously extract & destroy beyond repair in exchange for a rapid but finite payout & they chose the latter.

This is what tyranny looks like.

Trump has turned the Department of Justice into his personal attack dog to go after his political enemies.

UNTIL IT’S DONE, Ep. 4: Sylvia Rivera

In the 1970s, queer New Yorkers had been pushed to the margins of NYC. Our trans neighbors faced immense cruelty. But in Sylvia Rivera, they found a champion.

As we combat Trump’s politics of darkness, her legacy can light the path forward.
