Into a little bit of this and a little bit of that. If you voted for anyone but Kamala Harris for president this is not the account you want to follow🤷🏿‍♀️

Going to be posting the books I read from now through 2025 in this thread more to keep myself accountable than anything else😅

This is the part that kills me. I thought the people I knew that voted for him had some sort of intelligence as they had show it at points, but he out right says it and they still blindly follow. It's sad.
They were coming across people who came from all over the country. It's hard to believe none of the other labs that would have held diseases didn't explode, but like I said in my 2nd post the main group also didn’t hear about the nuclear bomb in Texas so I can't be too mad.
Then again the main group doesn't seem to learn about the hijinks going on during Fear with the nuclear bomb so I guess I can't complain too much 🤣 #TWD
Randomly watching #TWD episodes, b/c why not? I'm watching TS-19 from s1 and the group is learning about how the CDC will blow up when the timer hits 0... There are over 200 labs across the country... Yet after this the group doesn't hear about other CDCs blowing up...

You can literally watch Reagan’s words side-by-side with Canada’s ad.

They didn’t misrepresent anything.

Trump is lying. Again. As usual.

Meiselas: We’re 24 days into the government shutdown, and Trump left the country — the first president in U.S. history to leave the country during a shutdown.

This, while food lines are being seen throughout the United States. This is Trump’s America. Food lines like we saw in COVID are back.

One factory was contaminated with pigeon feces. At another, pathogens got into purified water used to produce drugs.

But when the FDA cites an errant factory, it conceals an important piece of information: the names of drugs made there.
Is Your Medication Made in a Contaminated Factory? The FDA Won’t Tell You.
The agency’s decision to conceal drug names on inspection reports has prevented doctors, pharmacists and patients from knowing whether medications made overseas are tainted by manufacturing failures t...

ICE is traumatizing children with cruel immigration raids, then trying to strip them of their due process rights when they’re alone, without attorneys or family to help them.

Tell ICE to stop tormenting kids — and urge Congress to introduce legislation to protect these children.
ICE: Stop Terrorizing Children
ICE is traumatizing children as young as 14 – trying to strip them of their rights while they're without attorneys or family to help them. Take action against these horrific abuses now.

New in PN: @gelliottmorris.com on Trump's dire polling

"Trump has the unique problem that he started off a lot lower than other presidents. So as he loses ground — and he has lost ground at about the normal clip — he just continues to be worse and worse than every other president before him."

PSA: Do not attend universities that signed a cooperation agreement with ICE.
We now all have the money to care for ourselves & give back. This is how it's supposed to work. The govt. should be helping those most in need & when they are on their feet they can get better jobs, take care of their families, put back into the govt. & their communities what was put into them.
My mother left an abusive spouse with nothing but me, my brother, & what could fit on her back & his little stroller. She relied on various govt. programs including SNAP to keep us fed & sheltered. It was years before she was in a place to provide for us independently, but we never went hungry...
I'm so tired of seeing people shaming people who rely on SNAP instead of the politicians who are responsible. People are going to starve. Kids are going to starve. Elderly people are going to starve. It's NOT THEIR FAULTS.
If I see one more person blame people for being hungry I'm going to lose it.

We asked people who lived in homeless encampments that were cleared out in city “sweeps” to write about what object was the hardest for them to lose.

“They took my baby pictures and my moms obituaries,” a man in California wrote.

“I Have Lost Everything”: The Toll of Cities’ Homeless Sweeps
Cities often take belongings — including important documents and irreplaceable mementos — when they conduct sweeps of homeless encampments. ProPublica gave notecards to people across the country so th...

When idiot Ron Schneider was born in 1963, the infant mortality rate was 29/1,000. It is now close to 5/1,000. So, no, children were NOT healthier when he was a kid. And he was, clearly, dropped on his head.
She can make it happen, my girl did once when she was mad at my sister 🤣
But Chase and Lulu are not friends.
