Reclaiming utilities is not fantasy, it’s arithmetic. End dividends, fund repair. Invest profits back into infrastructure, not tax havens. A public model pays for itself when waste and greed are cut from the bill. Accountability is not cost...it’s value. When will we have the courage?

Labour cannot dodge this any longer. The privatised model is broken. Services fail, shareholders feast. The courage test is simple...confront the lie that profit equals efficiency. If Labour fears that fight, it will govern decline, not renewal.

They say “market forces.”
But the market is not force...it’s design.
Government watches and frames it “uncontrollable.”
We pay the price. They sell the story.
The real price is inequality.

Britain cannot live forever in this decline. We can rebuild the idea of public good. Take power from profit and hand it back to people. Warm homes, fair pay, safe streets. The crisis is man-made which means it can be unmade. The future starts when we stop accepting this. When will we have courage?

Every bill is a tax for the rich. Water, energy, rail…the public pays twice, once in profit and again in subsidy. Families freeze while shareholders swim in dividends. Reform points at migrants. The real theft is legal, blessed, and privatised.

At present all leading politicians want is position, being in the media spotlight which will give them massive returns once they step down. There is no power in the roles they step into, no representation, the money markets and oligarchs hold the power. Its time we changed the way democracy works?

A three stage process:

Divide the party by announcing the referendum, the entire debate was based on Johnson’s desire to take over from Cameron.

Remove the large chunk of Tories who tried to reach a sensible position. The Grieves, the Clarkes etc. replace with Dorres and Jenkins in mainstream /1

But Brexit is on Farage. He fought tooth and nail to get it and had no plan whatsoever. Then resigned from UKIP and let Tories deal with it who also had no plan, so he could say it’s the wrong Brexit.The economy sun, so any taxes needed to prop it up ultimately can be traced to him. #faragetaxes

It'll soon be 10 years since the Brexit ref. So much has changed since then. If Brexit is the cause of our economic problems, as the government now admits, then surely we need to ask ourselves whether we want to carry on down the Brexit road or turn around and head back to the Single Market and EU.

Technically he isn’t right, he campaigned heavily and vociferously for Brexit without any kind of plan and then resigned as leader of UKIP shortly after the Brexit vote, stating that he had achieved his political ambition of getting the UK out of the EU and wanted his life back.

Brits don’t really do ‘rejoicing’, let alone ‘rejoicing in the streets’ but I swear to God (we’re all Americans now🙄) that if Starmer were to as much as hint that the UK is finally taking steps back toward integration with ‘Europe’, there would be a sigh of relief loud enough to be heard everywhere.
