The frogs shall come up on you and on your people and on all your officials."
“Decisions rooted in data and health”

So Gavin,
where are we at on Covid
And trans-affirming healthcare?
The American people deserve a public health system that puts science before politics.

That's why California and 14 other governors are joining forces to launch the Governors Public Health Alliance to protect communities and guarantee decisions are rooted in data and health.
There are definitely more environmentally and socially conscious ways to get your bingus honked, like talking respectfully to maybe one human.
The entire economy depends on this horseshit so it's your patriotic duty to ask the computer to honk your bingus several times a day

Thank you so much, Eileen. Not everyone will see this, but I do, reading it alone, in a park, in an Aura.
The worst part is students will get about as many of PTerry’s jokes as they do William’s.
The stone reads,
“Good friend for Jesus sake forbeare,
To dig the dust enclosed here.
Blessed be the man that spares these stones,
And cursed be he that moves my bones.”
Sounds like a gosh darned pirate, not Shakespeare.
Not sure this counts as unhinged. Pretty true.
In 400 years, The Compleat Works of Terry Pratchett will be studied alongside Shakespeare, Canterbury Tales, and Beowulf.

All are the popular, high concept low humor works of their ages.

Disney’s Andor should be taught in our schools as literature.

It’s very likely Shakespeare wasn’t a person, and even if he was, the guy who wrote the poem on his tombstone was not the person(s) who wrote the plays and sonnets.

But maybe this isn’t unhinged… what’s unhinged is that Mark Twain used like five chapters of his autobiography to argue this.

“Why are they upset about the frog?”

Because the frog has power. As silly as it sounds. The frog is not just a good idea. It’s our greatest weapon.

And I’m going to explain why…

This is the dreamscape described in Delany’s Dhalgren (except it’s on the coast rather than the center of the country):
Things are happening at Portland's ICE facility tonight.

Wait I thought that infinity symbol was just the icon.

I’m suddenly worried I’m the 1% of the 1%!
the distribution of results suggests that this is the correct methods choice, but starting the max option at 30 is an affront to me personally

(mobile, not desktop, but if you've never gotten the smiley face on chrome/infinity symbol on firefox, do you even internet)
How many browsing tabs do you typically have open?*

1: 6%
2-5: 54%
6-10: 14%
11-20: 8%
21-30: 2%
More than 30: 3%

Birds are abandoning their usual migration patterns because of warmer temperatures due to climate change.

This could "lead to many bird species dying out and drastically altering nature" 😢

Ominous warning for humanity as birds adopt 'unsettling' behavior

the answer to the trolley problem is not to pick who to sacrifice, it’s to dismantle the system that led to an unsafe trolley crossing.

if any part of your morality strategy involves picking a group to let die on a hill, throw the entire strategy out. it’s wrong.
It is difficult to talk about the series in any way without spoilers, and I have a no spoilers policy on the internet for those who care.
Just finished Bad Sisters S2, both seasons simultaneously do and do not seem to have this problem.
