A selection of images from games etc. Hannah Nicklin has worked on, a screencap or key art image from: Saltsea Chronicles, Black Mirror: Thronglets, Mutazione; and the cover of Writing for Games: Theory & Practice. Also featured two reviews.

One from Eurogamer: 5/5 Saltsea Chronicles
"Onwards you go in pursuit of your missing crew, then, your story diverging further from mine with every island choice, with every flick of the head or settling of the lips. Memories/Artefacts? Skeptical/Curious? And astonishingly, through all these moving parts, all this phase space, my story still made rich sense, and actually built to a truly devastating climax.

Scream/Weep? Fittingly, for me, Saltsea Chronicles turned out to be a story about choices as well as a story made of choices. It made me think about the big decisions I make in life, but also the decisions that shape a life that I don't even notice having made. Ripples turning to waves and all that. You must play this. It's luminous."

The second of Mutazione from Gamespew, 9/10
"Mutazione is a game that builds up relationships within a community you instantly feel a part of. The main story is secondary to the real drama and the heart of the town, but it’s necessary. It’s extremely well-written, and the hand-drawn environments are beautifully designed. Die Gute Fabrik has crafted a sweet, powerful fairy tale that delves into the human psyche and allows you to reside there for five hours or so." A virtual biz card on a dark purple background, featuring an image of a white woman in glasses, with blonde hair, speaking at a podium. Next to it is the title Hannah Nicklin, and the details Creative Director, Narrative Lead/Designer, Senior Writer, Consultant.

Ah glad you enjoyed! I was looking out for you but we were right down the front. Did you end up in a conga line at the end? 😅
Self Esteem Brixton nights 1 and 2 done, one left 🥲 A privilege to see her, her band and her wonderful support Moonchild Sanelly and Nadine Shah. Still tickets for Sheffield on Sat 18 Oct if you have fomo...
Moonchild Sanelly throwing a dramatic pose while singing on stage, pointing her thumb towards herself. Nadine Shah singing and pointing out towards the audience. Self Esteem in pilgrim-style long black dresses and white collars and hair coverings. RLT stage left singing while leaning over. The others are lit in red in a line, looking around creepily. A silhouetted trumpeter with a massive video screen behind. The screen shows a banana with You etched into it.
Also I hope your throat tickle is a false alarm! 🤞🏻
I'm 'only' seeing 16 🫠 But so far no lurgy at least
Yes, I was just thinking the same!
The JCVI decided only immunosuppressed plus older folk get it this year, basically. Interesting and annoying that the NHS app invited you. It didn't invite me to book either jab and I had to pore over the green book to check I could still legitimately get a free flu jab.
Well done to you. Hope your union rep can be of help. A stress risk assessment can be helpful, but only when you feel up to thinking about it xx
Big women-in-dramatic-poses energy

I've read a little about the rise of the populist far right in Unseen Japan. Could be the LDP is trying to out-Reform Reform, where Reform is Sanseito...
Guys, you're never gonna guess where the pot of gold is
A rainbow ending in the City of London, near the Gherkin and the Scalpel (that building that looks like a play button to South London in the right light)
They're walk-through like the overground trains, so yes. I think they're only being tested on the Woolwich Arsenal to Stratford International line so far, but our day will come!
Context: I love the old DLR trains, but they are literally falling apart. The new trains are so delayed that the service had to be cut back to avoid the old trains wearing out entirely, meaning crowded services.
But also... 😍 yay shiny trains with aircon, sorry Not London
omg omg omg
New DLR train!
