First day of the new Deep Dungeon in XIV and I managed to go as far as floor 92 before we pulled one enemy too many and took an untelegraphed line AoE to the face. Luckily they let you start at 71 this time.

I'm a few hours in and the cast consists almost entirely of cohabitating women and a kid we adopted. One of the women is a high-level Digimon.

This is turning into the plot of Kobayashi's Dragon Maid.

There's this recurring pattern in the Digimon Story games the dialogue was clearly written for one gender and so playing as the other gender makes a lot of dialogue sound gay.

With Time Stranger I'm starting to question if the writers are doing it on purpose.

I follow a lot of streamers who make RA content (including at least one developer) and if they all stopped making that content, it kinda takes away a lot of the fun.

It's looking like RetroAchievements are taking action to get rid of the racist content and users. It's good to see an organization actually make an effort to fix their screw-ups, but I'm still worried the damage has already been done.

Okay so RetroAchievements:

Removed the Romhack
Removed the staff member pushing for it from Admin
Banned a bunch of the chuds trying to pile on
Removed some other stuff that shouldn't have been there
Reinstated and unblocked accounts that shouldn't have been

I think they're handling this right tbh

Having worked community management both voluntarily and professionally for about 15 years, I can say @retroachievements.org has a nightmare of their own making to deal with, but they are actually doing the right things to fix it. The difficulty is finding a way to heal once things are right.
