Re-doing my intro post! I'm Elizabeth. I'm a Melbourne based writer who does everything from narrative to dialogue to localisation. I also put pictures of my butt on the internet, and I'm a singer in my free time (mostly jazz.) I have no shame. I also collect 50's/60's Las Vegas stuff. Minors DNI.

Massively regretting not streaming my Mass Effect re-visit because it's been long enough for me that I'd forgotten like 70% of the game and play it entirely differently as well, so it's like a brand new experience again.

I've been begging my husband to play it because he's never played any of them and he can't understand that it's an experience that you just _cannot_ get anymore. It's a once in a lifetime thing. The next best thing is watching someone ELSE experience it for the first time.

Like I can't tell if this is something added by a mod or not because the Citadel DLC is just THIS GOOD anyway. (This had me laughing out loud at like 2am.)

A message in Mass Effect 3's Citadel DLC that reads:

There's definitely aspects of ME3 that doesn't really work (like the weird PTSD dream sequences with the kid? Why are the PTSD nightmares about that every time and not the literal war crimes you've committed and hard choices you've had to make over three games?) but it's generally a solid game.

I even downloaded some mod packs that add some community QOL fixes, new missions, expands/arguably fixes the readiness system and even _fixes the ending of the game and adds some after game content_ (modders are so clever) and it's really been a great time. I yearn for Mass Effect. YEARN.

I think that we all left it with such a bitter taste in our mouths from how poorly the ending landed (to the point where even the Citadel DLC felt horribly bittersweet as BioWare was already starting to be cannibalised by EA) and forgot just HOW GOOD these games are.

I haven't played Mass Effect 3 or the trilogy since my first playthrough on launch in 2012 (it made my cry a lot) and I gotta say, I think maybe everyone should try and give these a revisit if you haven't yet. I've had the time of my life. They don't make 'em like this anymore. Really.

Also if you have pcos or get cysts they still happen while you're pregnant so today i had a cyst burst and it hurt so bad I passed out and then immediately threw up on regaining conciousness COOL
