The big problem with a lot of the Nintendo bashing is how repetitive it's become. You could easily make a drinking game out of every time you saw someone complain that Switch 2 is too expensive while ignoring the price increases with PlayStation and Xbox.

I do not believe Nintendo is above criticism but its so blatantly obvious that a lot of people are just dumping on them for no other reason besides easy clout because negativity against Nintendo tends to make for easy eyeballs with some people just making it part of their whole identity.

Like on a somewhat related note, its wild how so many people have memory holed just how bad the Wii U era was for Nintendo. The period between 2012 and 2017 was just an absolutely miserable time to be a Nintendo fan even if there were some gems to be found.
