28 episodes down, 22 more to go (the last 5 episodes I did watch were on PlutoTV with the release of the 2025 movie).

Also, with Lost Village being released on Tubi next month. I may revisit that film after not seeing it in a long time.

BBC 1 debuts Play of the Month. Anthology series.

The Odd Man was a police series shown on ITV from 19 October 1960 and 5 December 1968. 4 series totalling 32 episodes were made.

This series originally dealt with the investigations of Steve Gardiner. Gardiner was the "odd man" of the series' title, and his encounters with the police in the form of Chief Inspector Gordon, Chief Inspector Charles Rose, Detective Sergeant Macbride and Detective Sergeant Swift.

The cast includes Edwin Richfield, Keith Barron, Sarah Lawson, Moultrie Kelsall, William Mervyn, Anna Cropper, Jemma Hyde, Geoffrey Toone, Alan Tilvern, Jan Holden, Lisa Gastoni, Richard Vernon, Christopher Guinee, Geoffrey Palmer, Judith Furse, Patrick Newell, Jess Conrad and Roger Delgado

The Odd Man turned out to be the first in a trilogy during which Chief Inspector Rose's character slowly developed and became increasingly genial as they progressed.

A Granada production.

Object Z is a 6 part British television science fiction series first transmitted by ITV from 19 October to 23 November 1965.

A mysterious object is found to be approaching Earth by Prof Ramsay. Its impact could destroy life on Earth, causing panic. TV producer Barry and his assistant Winters become involved in events. It is eventually revealed to be a hoax, designed to unite humanity.

The cast includes Margaret Neale, Denys Peek, Ralph Nossek, Trevor Bannister, Brandon Brady, Celia Bannerman, William Abney, Julian Somers, Terence Donovan, Arthur White, Jeffrey Wickham and Lindsay Campbell.

A 6 part sequel, Object Z Returns, was shown in 1966. No episodes survive.

A Rediffusion London production.

Play of the Month is a television anthology series, which ran from 19 October 1965 to 12 September 1983.

The series features productions of classic and contemporary stage plays (or adaptations) which were usually broadcast on BBC 1. 16 series totalling 128 episodes were made. Over 40 are missing, believed wiped.

I’d trust Wikipedia more than anything to come from AI any day, it has SOURCES!
