Change nothing about it except for cleaning up the graphics, this game is otherwise perfect.

(I will accept voiced cut scenes, but DON'T *ADD* SCENES)

also need people to not act like the only way you get to be a real writer is writing full time. it’s almost impossible to survive in a freelance arts career right now. should you be able to? sure. but we can’t sneer at the idea of prioritizing survival over embodying the ”art is suffering” fantasy
I know we know this, but authors need to get better at talking about how they actually make their money. Stop pretending it's from the books.

I once asked a bookseller at a large indie store how many people would have to buy a book for it to get the attention of the store buyer and cause an additional order and they said: Three.
I see some book piracy discourse, and, to make a positive argument in favor of buying books, your marginal ability to influence what books get published and support the careers of writers you like is massive compared to most other forms of media.

Portland residents in possession of a goose or duck should be aware that it is an infraction not to dress them in plaid with a little cap in the winter months. Penalty for noncompliance is in-person viewing of an entire city council meeting.

The plan is karaoke tonight with my boyfriend!! Would anyone like to chip in so I can get some mozzarella sticks?

Planted some 30 garlics in my garden today for next summers harvest.

Realized I planted them upside-down 🙃 🤦

Here's the new painting, The Wind Doesn't Blow This Far Right.

(So named because I was obsessively replaying the new Lisa O'Neil song as I began painting it, and it felt right)

If your goal is to have options please don't just have multiple flavors of seltzer water, lots of folks find the stuff awful. Ginger beer is in that category too.

I'm a big fan of showing up with a tray of citrus slices, cranberry juice, and lemon-lime soda.
I do not drink because I have almost no tolerance for it anymore (one margarita is too much).

If you are hosting a party, I recommend also stocking:
-fancy ginger beer
-coconut water
-premium juices like lychee and guava
-apple cider with cinnamon
-Italian sodas
-sparkling water

Lots of options!

This advice is so great. I've studied languages throughout my life and discovered that I always retained skills best when I would find ways to play in another language. Play is a way to make the unfamiliar more familiar, to experiment and then accept success or failure without stress.
Watching a skateboard video where the answer to "how do I get over the fear aspect?" is answered with "Be playful," and it's so cool to see advice that I've given in art and animation having commonality with this very different skillset

I think we all deserve to be a bit more playful with our life!

Artist and nerd all my life, used to mostly do fanart! But right around when I started hardcore hiking and backpacking in 2015 I also decided to pursue PSU's new Comics Studies program.

I didn't see many people making comics about hiking so I just rolled with it.
What’s the lore behind choosing your career path ?
