He's also not "sending" him anywhere, what's going to happen if Andrew says no? Are MI5 going to appear in black cars? This'll be something they've discussed and decided amongst themselves as the "best solution", the usual self-regulation so beloved of the UK establishment.

Really hoping the BBC let this one stay up. Fingers crossed.
The video version of this episode is now on YouTube but could be taken down any moment (it's currently in a copyright dispute), so get it while it's hot! youtu.be/FFxzLa67PC0

Oh yeah, but it's also about the fact that now, especially someone whose new to a system's back catalogue, the game that came out in 1984 and the game that came out in 1987 are the "same" so the lack of originality in the latter doesn't factor in in the way it did at the time.
Something that really intrigues me is how many actually-good games were under-rated and under-valued at the time for being "old hat", especially in the UK in the late 80s when Crash (and presumably others) would frequently mark games down for being unoriginal or "out of date"

Hi! Do you like the movie film presentations of the 1980s? How about their soundtracks? Well join me for an hour playing some smart alternative tracks from those that often miss the usual "Top 100 Plays of Take My Breath Away" style lists.

Sorry, but after Savile it is beyond disgraceful that the UK and its punch-drunk and dust-covered institutions still won't treat this issue seriously. And we need a serious look at just to what extent the UK state makes the Windsors immune to legal consequences.
This is characteristic waffle, "voluntary" should be a dirty word in cases like this, and the government should be leading on this issue on behalf of both the country and the victims, not leaving it to the "leadership" of the fucking Windsors
"The decision has been made, quite rightly, by the Royal Family that Prince Andrew isn't using his titles anymore. The point about accountability is one for the justice system."

We spoke to the government minister Jacqui Smith. We asked her if MPs should change the law to allow the King to remove all honours more easily.

One of the greatest cold opens ever
Alexei Sayle's Stuff (20th October 1988). "Well, we apologise for the absence of Alexei Sayle in this week's edition of Alexei Sayle's Stuff. We're attempting to right the problem, but in the meantime the programme will continue in Leslie Crowther only".
Think was the first episode I ever saw, on the early 90s Channel 4 re-run
The Prisoner - Free for All (20th October 1967). Number 6 is persuaded to run for election to the post of Number 2.

Currently nothing as Parliament is Sovereign, not the King. All he's needed for is to rubber stamp the act of parliament if that ever happens. Until it does Andrew's still technically Duke of York even if he doesn't officially use the title.
Thanks. Suspect that all this "the king gets tough with Andrew" stuff is PR fluff to make the Insitution Of Monarchy (tm) look like it effectively self-regulates whilst also giving the impression Andrew is being punished (whereas in reality there's no material change)...
