I know that the orange turd has quite a cult, but he sure is unpopular AF for someone to have had such a win in November (and no, I don't believe he won all of the swing states). He was flailing right out of the gate. He talks 💩 about people he falls out with - except the ones with something on him.

The politics game is frustrating. A "pure" leftist like the online community demands won't even cut it with the base of the Democratic party. Looking towards the nonexistent center doesn't work either. My beef is with the all right now or nothing crowd. No politician will pass a purity test.

That center doesn't exist. White voters overwhelmingly fled to Republicans when civil rights laws came about. STOP trying to appeal to people who have shown you who they are. Harry Truman & Howard Dean have already warned about this ridiculous "strategy".🙄

Unfortunately, her educational achievements were an automatic no vote for her by so many. The basic literacy of adults in the US is outrageous and another factor in a nation that is failing.

Democrats in leadership are under the delusion that they can somehow win voters that are guided by bigotry. They make the mistake of trying to reach for a "center" that isn't there. There isn't a single issue they can focus on because it hasn't worked when they've tried it.

After the second big war in Europe, the perpetrators were punished & the place rebuilt. After the big war in the US, confederate traitors were never punished for what they did and Reconstruction was canceled. We're dealing with the fallout of it.

It has nothing to do with policy, it has everything to do with bigotry. The strategy of convincing them to hurt themselves because it will hurt others more (especially black people) is the one Lee Atwater proudly talked about using.
