If you bash the ACA from the left because it failed to achieve truly universal health care, please read this thread. The law isn't perfect. (None are.) It still did a huge amount of good and saved many, many lives.

I feel like the biggest parallel for what’s happening with Magic is LEGO. In the 90’s LEGO was entirely original themes but in 1999 the company announced a partnership with Lucasfilm and it paid off big. LEGO is dominated by licenses today and is doing better than ever. 🧵

I think the concept of "introversion" impeded my development as a young person, and I think we need to do away with the introvert/extrovert distinction. It made me feel like socializing and social graces were the province of a certain kind of person that I was not

This is a riveting piece. But the many replies even from experts saying “this kid should have his degree revoked!” are a real snapshot of how we got here. Yes, you should do your homework. But you should also be able to get to the second paragraph of a story to know that the kid is a sophomore.
