Tommorownaut. Cynical optimist. Dreamer. Lover of Star Trek, EPCOT Center, Monorails, PeopleMovers, and other trappings of the great big beautiful tomorrow we never got.
My favorite Star Trek movie was released OTD in 1986. I love everything about The Voyage Home; it's perfect all the way through. Happy Star Trek IV Day, and a double dumb ass on everyone!

The Cylons were created by man.
First look at the free-roaming robotic Olaf.

• He is able to meet guests & interact with them.

• Disney used a branch of AI called “reinforcement learning” to help bring Olaf to life.

• Coming to Disneyland Paris & Hong Kong Disneyland in early 2026.

These Good Morning America segments from 1986 are the last time we ever saw the Star Trek movie sets in their 23rd century configuration before they were massively reworked for TNG. youtu.be/s5XwlZ0knQg?...

Pretty reasonable price, actually.
It's ridiculous how @masterreplicas.bsky.social 's secret goal is to make me poor. 😅

Park hours are up on the WDW app for the week of our trip (last week in January) and I'm bummed that there's no extended evening hours at MK any day that week. I really wanted to walk around the uncrowded park at night and take footage for this video project idea I have.

WDW website lists Restaurant Marrakesh as "temporarily unavailable" even though they literally turned into a lounge. What else is "temporarily unavailable"? The Contemporary North Garden Wing? Tom Sawyer Island? The Astuter Computer Revue?

Ever since my first iPhone with Siri, I've been able to say "Call [person's name]" and it would place a telephone call. A few weeks ago I got my first phone with Apple "Intelligence" and when I asked Siri to call someone in my contacts it tried to send them a text with a FaceTime link.
