Picard was subpar, but there was still enough in it I enjoyed. Rios, lesbians, and a hot elf, for example.
Discovery wasn't a hit for me, but I love Tilly and Saru. Sonequa is such a wonderful actor.

I was a fan of an author for three literal decades. His work was absolutely formative to how I think about writing and stories. When it came out that he wasn't just a piece of shit but a horrific abuser I chucked all his books in the dumpster.
