I know it's still kinda divisive but The Process might be my favorite Skinny Puppy record, certainly the one I have listened to the most. It was exactly what I wanted when I was 15 and has held up extremely well. Weird techno + big dumb guitars 30 years on

i think good art transcends the boundaries of language and culture to touch people, in our fundamental shared humanity and this is why i think next year the superbowl halftime show should be merzbow

Albanian polyphony is one of the main things that inspired me to put together this insane all-unaccompanied vocal music mix several years back

Thinking about this Albanian polyphony track again, still might be one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever heard.

Remembering when I first started making weird music, someone talked about opening audio files in Photoshop as RAW and applying photo filters for crazy audio effects, and I figured out you can also do the reverse. Funnily enough, Adobe Audition is best for this. Did this by adding very short delays

As someone who has spent basically my entire life in universities, I am willing to extend some leeway to people who talked to Epstein to raise funds for their institution. That said it should maybe be taken as an indictment of the whole system that it’s so hard to find money from non-pedo sources

i've been watching the coyote on Alcatraz's progress with great interest. a week-ish ago, a coyote SWAM to Alcatraz for the first time and looked fuckin rough after the dangerous swim. but the coyote is doing fine now, gorging itself on unprepared birds & rats who are dealing with a sort of Godzilla

“Are the arts important?” Humanity practiced them long before they had use for science and will practice them long after math is gone. Is the dawn important? Is dusk?
