The All-Stars Racing games always felt like they were trying to find a blend of arcade racing controls and mario kart style items, I feel like they landed on something really nice on that front with CrossWorlds
It's a bit chaotic but I like that in my multiplayer games lol

The game is full of quirks and features that constantly remind you that it's made by a team of car sickos, the folks who yes indeed made the Initial D series, and it wears that SEGA arcade DNA on its sleeve... it's exactly the sort of direction I wanted the series to take, so I'm very happy

(Obviously the mobile games etc have been pulling a bunch of cool character picks for a while now but it hits different when they have dialogue and are interacting etc lol)

I love being able to play a game with so many Sonic characters in it... having characters like Cream, Espio, Charmy, and the Babylon Rogues there really adds so much
I hope they can find ways to make more games that use the wider cast
(I want another attempt at a party game lol)
