Walking around New Orleans hoping the truck barreling towards me has properly calibrated pedestrian collision avoidance sensors.
Wow that looks even harder than wire wheels to clean!

I’m probably seeing the same total number of recruiters, but the crypto grifts have been replaced 50/50 with AI grifts and legit looking companies.

LMAO they have been doing this with tires and brakes since the beginning, now we are going to complain “things are different and I don’t like it”

This one might get some deviant opinions from #motosky!

Possibly all the way to Ft Worth?

That’s the only level 1 trauma center for a loooong ways. What do they do in this situation? Land outside the area and ground transport or fly to Lubbock?

Thank you for the links! It's interesting reading. My issue isn't with self-reported data per se, it's with the closed loop. When someone knows their answers to a survey may change their circumstances it biases their answers to that survey, I think it's called "strategic bias".
February 10, 2026 at 10:22 PM
Wow, surveying for flow state? I’ve repeatedly had to argue with mgmt. that self reported data, that is used for changes that impact the self doing the reporting, do not measure what’s asked in the survey.

Then you might want to sit in a few to test. Caution though, MX5 owners love to talk at great length about how they’ve modified their cars so be ready for a conversation 😆

For a roll bar/cage, think about your height. I’ve heard passing the broomstick test requires quite a bit of work on the seat if you are over 6 foot. May want to take a helmet to the track and sit in a few different ones if this will be a concern for you.

Come on Harley-Davidson, buy it! Your core demographic may be aging out of 2 wheels but they can still splash out on a 4 wheeled lifestyle toy!
Jeep one notch from junk (in the credit ratings sense, we already know they're junk in the vehicle quality sense)

Lots of work for @conrad4congress.bsky.social to beat this guy next year!

This is how new, oddly specific rules are made.

@tamslick.bsky.social is it good to leave your firearm in a bar bathroom during Mardi Gras? www.reddit.com/r/NewOrleans...

You know it’s bad when the new Teslas are debadged from the factory.

That “vibrating” feeling he talks about at early companies is young people with job autonomy being sprayed with a firehose of money, of course they are happy.

Harley-Davidson, just complete the transition to lifestyle brand. If they can get people to pay $30K for a bagger then $60K for a Wrangler should be no problem.

Same reason why we required spotters for anyone who wanted to shoot away from the spectator area at the local autox. 😆

There was a story on NASIOC about someone with one of those prosumer long to wide lenses shooting a rally. They were tracking a car that rolled off course and hit the stop at the wide of the zoom and realized the wreck stopped a few feet in front of them.

I’m 100% sure someone at each of these AI companies had “tokens per {time unit}” as a KPI

“Spending tokens in a single thread isn’t going to meet these KPIs so here’s a way to spend the concurrently…”

I like how “it was at SEMA” is somehow supposed to cover for choices that were made.

The parades are very hard to meter, even on digital. It’s a dynamic situation and the light levels keep changing due to the costumes, crowd, police strobes, etc.
