A judge has awarded control of Proud Boys' trademark to the Metropolitan African Methodist Episcopal Church in Washington, effectively banning the group from selling any merchandise bearing its name or symbols without the church's permission. The church was the victim of vandalism by PB in 2020

A less discussed aspect of normalization of the far right is the attacks on anyone using pre-normalization assessments and terminology.

This has been going on for over a decade, in Europe and the U.S., where the term “far right” is being squeezed tighter and tighter until it only refers to Nazis.

The fact that the "Barry Stanton" account has been locked by X based on "misleading and deceptive identities" relating to its impersonation of a real person, rather than its neo-Nazism and incitement of violence, says a lot about X's attitude to the extreme right. It's still live, 112k followers...
