even if the only thing you care about is elections, “‘the man with the most power has expended enormous energy targeting those with the least’ [& i’ll protect them]” is a baller message, especially when compared to “hey, i voted *for* the bigoted law that would keep trans kids from playing games.”

bernie moreno captures 50.2% over sherrod brown, with 46.4%, whose campaign ceded ground by saying "hey, i voted *for* the transphobic law that keeps trans kids out of sports." incidentally, the republican governor vetoed that law. hell of a strategy.
