In a just world, the next time Hegseth talks about the “lowering of standards” for women, a reporter would ask him:

If it was so easy why didn’t you go to (insert selection or ranger school)?
I just hope these folks are ready to support someone if they do find themselves in a position where they resign their position (or forced out) because of an illegal order. Financially, first and foremost.
Directly and explicitly commit to prosecuting anyone issuing, relaying, and following illegal orders, or just shut the fuck up
We want to speak directly to members of the Military and the Intelligence Community.

The American people need you to stand up for our laws and our Constitution.

Don’t give up the ship.

Final verdict: it is nothing but virtue signaling.

This administration all the way down to the miltwitter meme lords are the first in line to bully anyone they deem woke or weak. They take pride in bashing other service members based on MOS, gender, sexuality, race etc

Actions > words
Extremely cynical Hot take: this memo getting lots of praise actually says nothing. “Every officer and NCO will call every soldier everyday from now until 15 January” to check in on them?

It means well. But it’s an example of the terminal junior officer mentality in DOD right now

MAGA is turning on Bondi (because she’s a woman) and Kash (because he’s brown).

But Trump probably won’t throw them under the bus because he knows they are willing to take the hits for him as long as he continues to let them hold jobs they have no business holding.
All three of the people in this frame—at a presser whose purpose is to lie to America about the largest child sex trafficking ring in American history—are *personal lawyers* of the president pretending to be public servants.

All three.

If you cannot see how terrified Trump is, well, *there it is*.

Less than 24hrs ago we were told “he was controversial. Things happen” about another political assassination. Dude still has his job from what I’ve read.
New: Reuters has tallied job losses, suspensions and investigations stemming from the reaction to Charlie Kirk's Sept. 10 assassination. Its findings: More than 600 Americans have been punished, and the figure is likely to be an under-count.

The administration thinks they’ve found some loophole in the system where businesses can settle lawsuits, give “donations” or gift the POTUS money and it’s all suddenly above board. And the media helps run cover for it.
Coinbase donated to Trump's $300 million White House ballroom project as an appeal to the administration, Emilie Choi, the cryptocurrency exchange's president and COO, said at Axios' BFD event today.
Exclusive: Coinbase explains donation to Trump's ballroom
Tech firms like Google, Amazon, and Nvidia also donated to Trump's ballroom fund.

Trump defends Mohammed bin Salman over the 2018 murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi:

"A lot of people didn't like that gentleman... Things happen... He knew nothing about it."

A US intelligence report concluded that bin Salman personally "approved an operation" to "kill or capture" Khashoggi.

It’s the equivalent of “common sense” in politics. Everyone wants to believe there’s a simple and easy way to make life great for everyone* if we just used “common sense”

*everyone usually just means you though
Americans want to think there is a technological solution to everything because it is a relatively clean and sterile path as opposed to investing in human beings. One of these things briefs well and the other does not, even if it's true.
At the Modern Warfare Conference today, really nice to hear a senior ARSOF leader plead for fewer tech gizmos to be inflicted on Rangers/SF/SMUs.

(Does he lack Hustle Grindset? Did he not hear about 9-9-6? Did he read UNIT X?)

I honestly have more disdain for the commenters below this post than Matt Walsh. Matt is a grifter so it doesn’t shock me that he can, with a straight face, say he wouldn’t sacrifice his kid to save humanity (which is kinda a big part of Christianity). But the commenters below who don’t see that…

One of the major themes of the “new soldiers are soft” crowd is how much they want basic to be like when they went but then pretty chill about everything else

Imagine we take away their phones on deployments bc older generations didn’t have them? AGSUs everyday? Smoke sessions at random?

We already have the COYOTE and the ROADRUNNER. My vote is we don’t stop the CUAS race until we have the SHEEPDOG. This will signify the final stage of miltwitter/vetbro & VC defense tech encapsulation of the DOD and then we can finally say we are lethal again.

Merits of the ad aside, it’s so funny how many of these guys truly find meaning and purpose in tweeting about being alphas and warriors

Shitposting our way into a unipolar world is a method I guess

If for some strange reason, this incredibly normal and very human way to interact with someone doesn’t work…maybe just learn to dance or something

Isolationists running cover for regime change

Populists running cover for a NYC real estate billionaire

Capitalists running cover for govt takeovers of private companies

Libertarians running cover for secret police in our cities

Meritocracy crowd running cover for racists

What a world.

To recap:

Lazy immigrants are coming here to freeload off of welfare & handouts

They also are stealing all our jobs which drives down wages for real Americans

They also somehow use these lower wages to pay above market prices for houses, which drives up housing prices

And they bring cows

I truly wonder if these guys realize that the same crowd that said woke/DEI is ruining America really just wanted to say “the jews” but it just wasn’t as acceptable

Or does he really think they are gonna stop once we stop making books that include two dads?

The amount of time I’ve spent talking to fellow staffers about the gift exchange portions of bilats/meetings in order to ensure nothing improper happened or the follow up after to ensure the boss wasn’t taking something she/he shouldn’t…laughable.

A lot of education discourse is at root an inability to decide whether the purpose of our education system is to 1) teach material and measure learning 2) reward students who work hard 3) separate the smart kids (destined for smart guy jobs) from the dumb kids (destined to serve the smart guys)
November 15, 2025 at 5:52 PM
Americans don’t want to do the jobs of immigrants and want to denigrate higher education which keeps more technical jobs out of reach. we are destined for middle management…and that’s exactly what AI is meant to take away. Seems legit.
