37. I used to wrestle. Now I just spend too much money on toys and comics.
It’s the most wonderful time of the year.

After looking at the comic solicits for February 2026, I’ve realized my wallet is going to be wrecked.

I’ll be picking this up next time I go to my LCS.
Dipping back into Conan with the excellent savage sword of #Conan 11 by @liamsharp.bsky.social @ronmarz.bsky.social
Totally nailed that 70s swordadelic vibe. Recommended.

Spending the day cleaning the house…

…and by the house I mean organizing my comics and realizing I will never have the time to read all of these.

Pretty bummed that Dark Patterns isn’t getting a hardcover treatment.

One of my favorite films of all time.

Would love the chance to audition for a stage production of this.

Sadly the local B&N didn’t have “The Devil’s Backbone” or “Pan’s Labyrinth” in stock, but I can’t complain about this haul during the 50% off Criterion Collection sale.

Stopped at a local shop before picking up my wife’s birthday cake and spent a little bit too much money on myself. Near Dark on DVD, a good chunk of the New Mutants’ “Demon Bear Saga,” which includes multiple first appearances, and the first appearance of the Infinity Gauntlet in Silver Surfer 44.

We just spent $3k to get my wife’s car fixed. You best believe we’re grabbing a complimentary Coke Zero.

The wife and I just started Season 2 of #StrangerThings and I am having to mentally prepare myself for this gut punch again.

When playing ranked on #MarvelRivals I feel very self-conscious about playing as a Duelist or a Vanguard. I usually just play Rocket. First game of the new season someone on our team picked Rocket and my friend, Ben, told me to just play Wolverine.

It went very well.

From 2004-2006 Samoa Joe was WRESTLING GOD. The aura around this man was unlike anything else I’ve experienced as a wrestling fan.
Why SAMOA JOE rules!

Just knocked out a 2 mile walk with Zeus. It’s the furthest he’s gone in a bit. Going to try to get him to walk a 5k with me next week.

I just got a call from my Fantasy Football Commissioner that a man I’d known for over 25 years ago passed away last night.

Rick, I will miss seeing you at the draft table. Listening to you talk about the Cowboys and the rest of us all giving you shit for it.

RIP, my friend.

Took my wife, my dad, and a good friend to see #PredatorBadlands today and it did not disappoint. Do yourself a favor and go and check it out.

Highlight was seeing a little kid rocking a Yautja mask in the theater.

Dan Trachtenberg please keeping making Predator content.

Congratulations to all the Democratic candidates who won tonight. It’s a reminder that when we come together around strong, forward-looking leaders who care about the issues that matter, we can win. We’ve still got plenty of work to do, but the future looks a little bit brighter.
