We no longer receive grants as we did in the past when we had a fiscal sponsorship contract with Future Front Texas, also known as Charity name (Boss Babes ATX). During that period, we were able to utilize FFTX's EIN for charitable donations and grants from various nonprofit organizations. The presence of a fiscal sponsor enabled us to secure grants from other entities such as The Gworls, Phuild project, Grapevine, Emergent Fund, Black Trans Travel Fund, and others. The absence of a fiscal sponsor has significantly hindered our ability to obtain funds as we once did. This is the reason we are currently seeking donations from the public Contributing directly to our cause is a significant way to make a difference. Have you ever hoped that your donation to a charity for the homeless would truly benefit those in need of shelter? Only to discover that your generous gift was used to cover the salaries of nonprofit staff? Here, we operate differently we rely entirely on volunteers who share our mission because we are all in this together. Your contribution genuinely supports the shelter. We don’t operate like a business we are simply trying to survive just like the trans women we take in to Thrive House. We encourage donations of any kind to help our shelter continue to keep thriving. We keep us safe. Texas is unsafe for all LGBTQ people as the state is ran by transphobic hate and enforced by laws that don’t protect us but in fact do just the opposite putting us in danger.
