You're a high ranking government official and you shouldn't make things up.

Your 70% number is just a fabrication.

And it's TOTALLY not true that "every single" person you detained is here illegally. For instance, many were allowed in so they could apply for asylum.

Also, and I feel this is important, the Navy provides detailed documentation on medal precedence which demonstrates that Kelly is correct and Hegseth is wrong/drunk.
obviously this is a dumb story and hegseth is trash but this is not a mirror picture and people should stop saying it is. first of all the medals are on the correct side of the uniform and second of all if you zoom in you can read the writing on some of them, including the number 2 and “nasa”

Pretty convincing evidence here that the Trump administration was planning to jailbreak and provide asylum for Bolsonaro -- and that Trump inadvertently revealed the plan.

And this, as the now-cliche goes, would have been a paralyzing scandal for any other administration.
Trump appears to blurt out secret plan, not knowing it's already a bust

Interesting how it’s just now occurring to Those In Charge that the American economy is in fact driven by the consumer spending of ordinary people

If you were a despotic president, what movie would you force Hollywood to make? I want to see Quentin's Star Trek movie or maybe Kill Bill Vol 3.

Just like UBI & Medicare for All would be much better uses of taxpayer dollars.
Anderson Cooper: So it's more expensive to have a chronically homeless person living on the streets than it is to actually subsidize an apartment for them?

Answer: Yes, we’re paying more as taxpayers to walk past that person on the street and do nothing… #HousingFirst

I’m poor right now, and super do not appreciate Carhartt realizing they can sell me hats AND bags AND hoodies, and directing their entire advertising budget at my eyeballs.

Thank goodness they don’t sell pens and notebooks too. I’d be done for.

If you want free or more affordable books, don't steal them - advocate for universal basic income so authors can write the damn things without having to work a day job 8-10 hours a day or subsist on Venmo money.
People who pirate books: “I just think art and literature should be FREE to everyone!”

Yes, I too would love to live in a world where art is accessible freely to all and yet artists are paid a living wage, but as this magical wagical pixie wixie land does not exist, please don’t steal from us.

Nothing so far today has dissuaded me from my clearly delusional belief that buying a rural Irish pub is the best next step in my life.

I will install a “Guest Artist” suite, by way of a writer’s retreat, I have decided. Free room and board, and a daily drink minimum. You heard me.

Considering starting a GoFundMe so I can move to Ireland and buy a rural pub. The main reward will be the documented journey of me moving to Ireland, where I have never been, and running a rural pub, which I have only done in a rough theatrical context (I can explain).

Twitter accounts are based in Russia. BlueSky accounts are based in homes with, frankly, too many books, plants, obsolete cables, and pieces of rustic pottery, that could do with a bit of a tidying up, to be honest.

I knew a guy in college who claimed he didn’t like the Beatles, and everyone just refused to engage him on that point.
As someone who is this guy's age I can tell you 100% that if you were into Pixies, Nirvana, 120 Minutes stuff, etc. but didn't like the Beatles you had to have worked hard to contort yourself into that special little box. Your enemy, if you absolutely needed one, was hair metal. GTFO here with this.
