BC will be filing an appeal to the Cowichan Tribes v. AG Canada et al. BC Supreme Court decision and seeking a stay to pause implementation until the appeal is resolved. Our gov. is committed to protecting and upholding private property rights, while advancing the critical work of reconciliation

Cedar LNG is the largest Indigenous majority-owned LNG project in North America. Powered by BC electricity, it will be the cleanest and lowest-carbon LNG in the world.

This means more jobs that support families, long-term prosperity for the North.

Travelling BC gives me a unique opportunity to see the incredible community work happening across the province.

Take Autumn Services in Fraser Lake, whom I met on my last tour. Senior support, all ages events, catering.

A true pillar of their community.

When completed the Haisla Nation Cedar LNG project will be one of the lowest emission plants in the world. Powering this major export project with clean electricity ensures that BC has the competitive edge when it comes to selling our product to Asian markets.

I recently visited Heppell’s Potato with Minister @lanapopham.bsky.social, seeing firsthand how B.C. farmers are leading the way in sustainability and food security. From seed to soil, growing right here in B.C. matters.

Don’t miss Ugly Potato Day coming up on August 9th from 9-4pm in Cloverdale!

No matter what Trump’s ambassador says, Canadians aren’t “mean and nasty” for choosing to buy Canadian and travel locally.

We’re taking a stand against Trump’s threats to our sovereignty and standing on our own two feet.

Let's hold the line.

Today, we signed a groundbreaking agreement with First Nation and Hereditary Chief partners to develop the North Coast Transmission Line and deliver clean power to the North.

Together, we created a new partnership model - one that will see First Nations as project co-owners.
