I am realizing (as I realize that I do not feel sleepy at all even though it is definitely past my bedtime and even if I was I don't really remember how to sleep) that I have, crucially, been without one of my ADHD medications since late last week.

I watched Criminal Minds, I ordered cute new socks, I did not leave the house at all, I did some knitting, I messed around with the fish tank, I baked cookies, I texted people, I played phone games. I feel very ready to sit in a chair like a person again and maybe even say words in public.

What's crazy is that in undergrad I could organize all of my thoughts while cleaning the bathroom and then sit down and write in one go but now I need notes and outlines to remember my ideas and this is extremely offensive.

This is not even new, because I switched to dry powder inhalers after reading something like this years ago and I ended up with piles of used inhalers all over my house because I was so worried about recycling them.
