With how vindictive Gnosia!Remnan is, I wonder how many of her tendencies he inherits. His synapses are too fried to make it a love thing, but I can see him venting his frustrations on one target repeatedly. After all, that’s what he thinks it looks like to demonstrate your power and individuality.

Remnan’s nervous system must have so many abnormal responses because of manual stimulation by the control collar, psychological conditioning aside the muscle memory must be so ingrained that if he gets the right cues (or wrong depending on who you are) it’s very difficult for him to control his body

I like how all the elements of Remnan are in conflict with each other, he’s this introverted, analytical man who likes machines and routines, but he looks like this almost artificially beautiful angel and he’s been so misused so badly that he has this residue of sexuality that feels almost grotesque

It’s close between him and Rem, but Jonas’ Bug victory is probably my overall favorite. He views the events of the game as a shadow play taking place in his own mind anyway and the scary part is that when he’s the Bug he’s actually right, you really are this lunatic’s dream and he’s about to wake up

its mostly that remnans entire body is just so horrifically sensitive to touch its the opposite of being numb to pain. its like pressing your fingers down on a porcelain doll and seeing how hard you can squeeze before it starts to crack, and then you move to a different part and then just start over

gives remnan a really big shot of methylphenidate before immediately activating the control collar so hes feeling overstimulation the likes his frail body hasnt experienced before but he cant move to release any of it

I thought the shot of Manan twirling in the blood was so surprising and it made me sort of sad, she looks so uncharacteristically young (not physically but in her expression). There’s a kind of unrestrained joy I don’t think she experiences very often. Whatever is just offscreen is probably horrible

reminding myself that just bc you need a puzzle walkthrough for some bits of a game it doesnt make you stupid it just means you need a bit of help

In Gnosia, the state of humanity is equivalent to the worth of your life. The crew are all war refugees. At first it seems strange, the unserious way they act in the face of death, but as the story progresses it becomes clear that many of them simply don't believe their lives have human worth.
